Nostalgia ain’t what it used to be

Rose-tinted Lockdown 2020: When the world was kind and the mullet was King.

Today is the first day of Autumn here in the UK. I write this as the rain lashes down onto the roses outside my window, wilted flowers bowing under the grey skies as the heavy drops smash into their delicate petals.

Last night the UK government made another stern announcement about its plans to control coronavirus.
